Britney Spears shocked the entire world after she was taken in to custody for an incident that involved DUI.

After being arrested on March 4, the 41-year-old singer decided to get rid of the habit altogether.

It was reported by multiple news sources that the Toxic hitmaker has voluntarily entered a rehabilitation facility.

Her spokesperson shared a statement about the Grammy winner’s decision, noting that she is trying to avoid that “unfortunate incident,” calling it “completely inexcusable.”

She declared taking “the right steps [in order to ]comply with the law.” 

According to her representative, this might end up being “the first step in long overdue change” that is needed.

The Gimme More singer’s sons “are going to be spending time with her,” while people from her close circle might work on a “plan” for her “wellbeing.”

Recently, Britney’s eldest child Sean Preston dropped his father Kevin Federline’s last name and changed his name to Sean P. Spears on Instagram.

He and her other son were spotted hanging out with their mother on a yacht, enjoying their time together.

Did Britney Spears take retirement? 

This came after the Criminal crooner made the headlines for selling her entire catalogue without any announcement.

According to many fans, the move signified her retirement from the music industry with several speculating she is never returning as a pop star.
