Britney Spears has recently spoken up days after her DUI arrest earlier this month.
The Toxic singer finally made a comeback to social media on March 27 and posted a video of herself goofing around with son Jayden Federline, thanking her fans and friends in a heartwarming message.
“Thank you, guys, for all your support… spending time with family and friends is such a blessing!” wrote the 44-year-old in the caption.
Britney concluded her caption with a powerful message, adding, “Stay kind!”
In the clip, the songstress seemed to have a slight British accent as she explained, “I'm composure. I'm being very composed.”
The post came days after the Daily Mail reported that she had been sober after her DUI arrest on March 3 in California near her residence.
The singer also confirmed that she didn’t have a drop of alcohol in over three weeks.
A source spilled to the outlet that Britney “has been very open and honest in her AA meetings, she has said she loves pouring her heart out as she knows that is the best way to heal and feel better”.
“The only thing she has indulged in is fancy coffee drinks. She is being super careful because she wants to be there for her kids,” added an insider.
For those unversed, Britney shares two sons with her former husband Kevin Federline.
Although the singer’s sons have lived in Hawaii, they are quite happy by their mother’s side for the last few weeks.
“She is very happy that they are close again, it is healing her heart, she loves her sons,” added a source.
