Sabrina Carpenter wins heart with 'banned' star cameo for Coachella set

Sabrina Carpenter, who is known for her creative performances, made sure she sends everyone in to a frenzy with an unexpected guest celebrity.

Apart from her extraordinary energy on the stage, the 26-year-old singer won hearts of her fans by having Susan Sarandon for a cameo.

The Please Please Please crooner invited Susan despite the actress being banned from the Hollywood in 2023 as she was vocal about her political opinions.

Sabrina is known for breaking rules and going against the norms which is exactly what she did for Coachella during her set.

The 79-year-old presented a monologue for the show where she asks: “ I wonder what else your mom told you about me!”

She questions during her cameo, “What was an 8-year-old supposed to figure old… Your aunt is a star,” revealing “Fannies like to YouTube me a lot.”

One of the X users gushed: “That monologue made me emotional,” while another netizen was of the opinion: “We love her for this.”

Many appreciated the bold move while few complained about the monologue being a little too long.

Sabrina performed several songs on the musical festival’s stage, exiting the set on her car and sending fans in to a frenzy.

According to an online report, it was one of the best shows at the evening.
