Fiona Phillips has been seen smiling in a rare and touching photo shared by her husband, Martin Frizell, as she continues her battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
The former GMTV presenter appeared relaxed and cheerful in the candid snap, offering fans a glimpse of her life away from the spotlight.
The image, shared by Frizell, comes alongside a heartfelt update on her condition, which has progressively worsened since her diagnosis in 2022.
Speaking publicly, Frizell revealed that Phillips has struggled with memory loss, admitting she no longer remembers significant recent events such as Christmas and New Year.
Despite these challenges, he reassured fans that “she’s very much with us,” highlighting that her strong personality remains intact.
According to Daily Mail, the television producer also shared that his wife often feels confused and anxious, particularly when outside familiar surroundings.
Moreover, her condition has led to repeated questions and disorientation, reflecting the difficult reality of living with Alzheimer’s.
Phillips, who publicly disclosed her diagnosis in 2023, had initially experienced symptoms such as brain fog and anxiety before receiving confirmation of the disease.
Both of her parents also suffered from Alzheimer’s, adding a deeply personal dimension to her journey.
