'Euphoria' creator opens up honouring late stars, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud
The creator of the hit series recalls his struggle to pay respect to late actors
Sam Levinson, who created HBO’s hit series, Euphoria, recently opened up about the series’ main stars, Eric Dane and Angus Cloud.
At the premiere of the latest season, the filmmaker confessed the struggle he faced to pay proper respect to the late actors.
The launch took place on Tuesday in Los Angeles, where he dedicated a five-minute speech to the passed-away actors at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
The American actor confessed, “The real time was in trying to figure out how to find a way to pay respect to those who we've lost.”
He added, “The Rebbe says, ‘The only way to see great light is to pass through great darkness. ‘Well, it feels good to be on the other side.”
Talking about the time when Angus died because of a drug overdose, Sam said that it was very “tough” for him as he loved him a lot.
Notably, the series has lost two stars and a producer, Kevin Turen, and announced that the third season is dedicated to those who worked hard for the drama TV show.
For the unversed, Eric died due to respiratory failure caused by ALS, as The Idol producer passed away because of cardiac emergency.
