Andy Serkis is set to grace the grace the silver-screen once again as Alfred Pennyworth in Batman: Part II.

Alfred Pennyworth, is a DC Comics character, and is Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler and one of the most import supporting figures in the Batman universe.

Currently, Serkis has been doing press for the Angel Studios’ animated movie Animal Farm, which he directed.

During the press, in conversation with Collider, he revealed if he will be making a comeback in the dark knight’s film.

"I’m pretty certain it’s all going to work out. Yeah, we’re working on it, but I think it’s all looking good," he said.

As per Screen Rant, Serkis said he "won’t be joining them immediately," them being Batman II, but "by the end of the year, I will be."

Serkis will star opposite to Robert Pattinson as Batman, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Scarlett Johansson, and Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent.

In addition to the Cape Crusader’s film, Serkis is also working on Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, which is set to premiere on December 17, 2027.

Batman: Part II is slated for release on October 1, 2027.

Meanwhile, Animal Farm will hit theatre on May 1.
