Dan Levy has revealed a surprising fact about Schitt’s Creek while also reflecting on the passing of the Hollywood legend Catherine O’Hara.
The writer of the beloved sitcom opened up about the fact that he pondered a sequel to the 2015 show, but that it ended with the tragedy that iccured on January 30th of this year.
In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the Big Mistakes co-creator was asked if there is any chance for a sequel, to which he replied, No. Not now. You can’t.”
Dan went on to say, “Yeah I was thinking about it. Yeah,” while reflecting on the revival of the sitcom in which he played David Rose, while the late actress played his mother Moira Rose and becoming visibly emotional.
It’s tough. It’s tough being back, I didn’t think that I’d have quite an emotional reaction,” he added while wiping his eyes and standing in front of the store that used to be Rose Apothecary, a business that his character owned.
Dan revealed that the memories he had with Catherine were coming back to him and that’s ultimately all one has to hold on to.
