Zendaya reflected on the time when she felt a spark with fiancé Tom Holland.
The Euphoria star and Spider-Man actor publicly confirmed their relationship in 2021, while the rumours of their romance date back to 2017.
In an appearance on The New York Times' Modern Love podcast to promote her new film with Robert Pattinson, The Drama, the Challengers actress recalled her first memories with Tom.
The couple first met each other during Spider-Man: Homecoming screen test in 2017.
"I knew this is my person because I don’t feel nervous around them,” she said of Tom. “I feel really peaceful, and I feel really calm like, oh, I actually feel more nervous when I’m away from you than when I’m with you."
Explaining how he made her feel "calm" back, the Dune star revealed that "just by being a nice person."
Zendaya admitted that she felt comfortable in his presence. Despite feeeling nervous about the job and the scale of the movie, because "he was really lovely then."
Tom first appeared as Peter Parker in the 2016 Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Captain America: Civil War.
Zendaya was cast alongside him as his love interest, Michelle "M.J." Jones for Homecoming.
Last year in January, the People magazine confirmed their engagement and now Zendaya's long time stylist Law Roach claimed that the couple were already married while he spoke with a reporter at the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1.
Holland and Zendaya have not yet confirmed whether they have held a wedding.
Her upcoming film The Drama is set to release on April 3, meanwhile, the love bird’s movie together, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated for release on July 31 and The Odyssey dropping on July 17.
