Lisa Kudrow sparks confusion after cosy moment with ‘mystery man’

Lisa Kudrow sparked confusion and a few raised eyebrows on the set of The Comeback after an affectionate moment left some crew members seriously puzzled.

The 62-year-old star admitted she unknowingly created an awkward scene when she walked in, spotted Julian Murray Stern sitting on a couch, and immediately snuggled up next to him without thinking twice.

“I was tired, my brain was fuzzy,” she explained, revealing she had been focused on her lines and simply followed instinct. 

But the room reportedly went quiet as stunned onlookers tried to process what they were seeing, unaware that the 27-year-old actor was actually her son.

The tension quickly melted away when Julian casually said, “Hi, Mom,” finally clearing things up and prompting a wave of relief, and laughter, from those watching.

Heis now stepping into the spotlight with his HBO debut in the third and final season of The Comeback, starring alongside his famous mum as she reprises her role as Valerie Cherish.

Away from the amusing mix-up, the Mad About You star also reflected on her enduring 31-year marriage to Michel Stern. 

The Friends favourite shared that the secret to their long-lasting relationship is simple, commitment and mutual respect.

For the unversed, their love story began years ago when Lisa first met Michel while he was dating her flatmate. 

Despite instantly thinking he was “the perfect man”, she kept her distance. 

Fate later brought them back together and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
