Suge Knight is set to take a ‘shockingly candid’ approach in his new memoir
Suge Knight has opened up about his upcoming memoir Your Pain Is My Joy in a press release, and it seems like it will have a lot of details from his life and pivotal moments in hip-hop history.
The rapper is currently behind bars and serving his 28-year-old sentence for a fatal hit-and-run that took place in 2015, but dished in a press release what readers can expect.
It describes the book as shockingly candid and apparently takes readers on an unflinching ride through Suge's Compton neighborhood to the peak of the gangsta rap era, when the streets and the music business mixed freely.”
“I have listened to people try and rewrite history for years. ‘Your Pain Is My Joy’ isn’t an apology or an excuse: It’s my truth about Tupac, Death Row, and my life. After you read this book, your question marks will turn into periods," the former CEO Death Row Records stated.
Suge has been vocal about a number of things from prison, and the 60-year-old has made headlines talking about Tupac’s death.
Notably, he had even weighed in on Sean Diddy Comb’s infamous case last year and it appears that the rapper will continue his streak in the memoir out on August 4th.
