Jessica Biel is standing firmly by her husband, Justin Timberlake, after police bodycam footage from his 2024 DWI arrest surfaced.
But sources say she’s “not happy” about the renewed spotlight on the incident.
The footage, released on March 20, shows the NSYNC star during his June 2024 arrest in Sag Harbor, New York, where he was charged with driving while intoxicated and two traffic violations.
According to an insider, the 44-year-old actress finds the situation “stressful” and would much rather “move past it.”
“She’s supportive of Justin, but she’s also not afraid to show when she’s disappointed,” the source told PEOPLE.
“This was one of those moments. She’s happiest focusing on family life and work on her own terms.”
The 45-year-old singer, who shares sons Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4, with Biel, faced public scrutiny when awkward moments from the arrest made headlines.
In the footage, he explains to officers what he does for a living, saying, “It’s hard to explain … umm … I’m Justin Timberlake,” while performing a series of field sobriety tests.
The Friends with Benefits actor previously fought to block the footage from going public, claiming in court that its release would “cause severe and irreparable harm” to his reputation.
A settlement eventually allowed a version of the footage to be released.
Timberlake had also reached a plea deal in September 2024, pleading guilty to a lesser offence and maintaining he was “not intoxicated” at the time.
Despite the public attention and challenging moments, Biel remains a “pillar of support” for her husband.
