Kathy Hilton breaks down over Bijou Phillips' health crisis

Kathy Hilton, close friend of Bijou Phillips, candidly revealed about her threatening health condition.

The 67-year-old American fashion designer and actress shared that she was terrified on hearing that she would require a second kidney transplant.

The Almost Famous actress was born with poorly developed kidneys, and in 2017 was entertained with a transplant.

However, due to complications the kidney was rejected. She has been put on dialysis until she gets a living donor.

Hilton told Us Weekly that she was in actual tears as the Bully star feared that in case she proceeded with the dialysis, she might not come out of it.

The veteran pal claimed that her husband Richard urged Phillips on the phone to battle in her behalf to save her young daughter. 

"Listen, you listen to the doctor … You have a young child."

Phillips has recently posted an emotional appeal on Instagram, saying, "I need help finding a kidney. I'm asking as a friend, a sister, an aunt, and most important, a single mother to an incredible and brave daughter."

The actress whose ex-husband, Danny Masterson, is serving a jail term, revealed why she did so. 

I"I want to be here for her, and I have to be here for her. I'm it. I'm all she's got," as she has mentioned to Us Weekly.

Hilton observed that Phillips has good support system, whereby her daughters, Paris and Nicky have visited her at the hospital in Los Angeles.
