Britney Spears’ spending spree raises alarm among her close friends

Britney Spears’ friends have expressed concerns after she sold her music catalog for approximate $200 million.

A source spilled to Radar Online that the Toxic singer’s friends worry that she will waste her money that she gained after selling her song archive.

“This money should be a safety net for Britney, but the fear is that she'll quickly squander it,” said an insider.

The source revealed that the pop star has “zero” impulse control when it comes to money.

“She's been spending obscene amounts since she closed this deal,” explained an insider.

The source pointed out, “She's been going on one luxury trip after another, and loading up on jewelry, luxury cars and designer clothes.”

“She's even looking into buying a mega-yacht. It's a total free-for-all,” remarked an insider.

The source mentioned that the singer is often surrounded by people who take advantage of Britney’s generosity.

The songstress, who closed the deal with Primary Wave Music, has been “buying extravagant gifts for her so-called friends.

It is pertinent to mention that Britney barely had any money during last few years besides her 2022 book deal, The Woman in Me.

An insider added that the songstress hasn't released an album in almost 10 years and she's stopped touring, so now if she “burns through the $200million,” then she is left with no money.
