Dolly Parton has recently addressed speculations about remarrying Sylvester Stallone following the death of her husband Carl Dean last year.
After making a comeback to the spotlight this week, the legendary country musician gave a speech celebrating Dollywood’s 41st season.
On stage, Dolly also sets the record on her relationship status amid new husband rumours during her first public appearance after her husband’s demise.
She jokingly said to the crowd, “I bet some of you thought [Eugene’s] probably my new husband that you read about,” as she referred to Dollywood Company President Eugene Naughton.
Then, Dolly discussed unusual speculation that had been going around in last few weeks.
“There’s a lot of rumours going around, but I did not marry Sylvester Stallone, did you see that one? And I’m not dating anybody,” stated the 80-year-old.
The country singer added, “I’m not married. I don’t think I’ll ever be married but once.”
Meanwhile, Dolly shared her thought about her reunion with her late husband of 58 years someday.
“I Think Carl Dean’s waiting for me on the other side,” remarked the singer.
In the end, Dolly opened up about her health concerns as she postponed tours and appearance in last few months.
“I’ve not been touring, as you know. I’ve had a few little health issues, and we’re taking good care of them,” she further said.
