Harry Styles reveals surprising freedom behind superstar life

Harry Styles has admitted that fame isn’t always as glamorous as it looks. 

The 32-year-old pop superstar told Runner’s World that releasing music can feel strangely isolating, almost like sending a child off to school.

“It’s a really beautiful moment when something is finished and it’s just yours,” Harry explained. 

“Then there’s almost a sadness at the handing-over. You have to let it go, and it feels somewhat detached from you.”

The former One Direction heartthrob confessed that it took him years to make peace with how fans receive his work. 

As It Was singer admitted it took him years to understand that fans’ reactions aren’t always about him personally. 

He said it can be daunting but also liberating, and his focus is simply to stay himself and keep making music.

Harry revealed that this shift has changed how he views his role as an artist. 

Night Changes hitmaker explained that he no longer feels he has to provide all the answers about life. 

Instead, he finds freedom in exploring the questions and letting people watch, after all, questions are more intriguing than answers.

Away from the stage, Harry has taken up running, enjoying the simple freedom it gives him.
