Addressing the controversy in a previous Pitchfork conversation, the vocalist stated, “When a lot of these allegations came out, we were dumbfounded,” highlighting the unexpected reaction to the claims and the pressure of public attention.

He further explained the intent behind the artwork, saying it was influenced by an eighties film titled “Roller Blade,” and maintained that political meanings were not understood at the time, stressing again that his work did not reflect alignment with extremist ideologies.

Meanwhile, Jenna Ortega has not commented on the speculation about her personal life and has previously expressed hesitation toward relationships, stating, “Maybe I am too obsessed with my work, but the idea of relationships stresses me out.”
