Selena Gomez has casually dropped two revelations about Taylor Swift’s songs that have shaken up the popstars’ fan bases.
The Wolves singer and the Out of the Woods hit maker have been friends for nearly 17 years, and the former has recently confirmed that one song people speculated was about her is indeed about her.
In the latest episode of Friends Keep Secrets, which is her husband Benny Blanco’s podcast with Lil Dicky and his wife Kristin Batalucco, the 33-year-old made a revelation about the 36-year-old and her album Evermore.
"Well, Dorothea's about me, one of her songs, and I feel like a lot of moments [we had were] huge moments that were self-defining from relationships to family to love to hate, all of it in between, we were figuring it out because I was 15 and [Taylor] was 18,” Selena spilled.
"We didn't really know like what was going on, and so we've never seen each other any differently. So, when I listen to ["Dorothea"], I'm so impressed how it's eloquently put,” she continued.
The Only Murders in the Building also talked about an unreleased song of Taylor’s called 'Family', the essence of which she described without directly quoting the lyrics.
Selena dished that it was over a decade ago, and that it was about both of them believing in each other’s dreams such as selling stadiums or being in movies, with the actress adding that listening to the song now makes her emotional.
Notably, the duo often gushes over each other’s lasting friendship, and Taylor has also publicly supported the Calm Down singer in her personal and professional life.
