Cillian Murphy, who is known for his role in Peaky Blinders, has proven fans of Taylor Swift wrong after they appeared together on The Graham Norton Show.
The 49-year-old actor made a cameo in the newly released music video of Opalite from Taylor’s The Life Of A Showgirl album.
The Oppenheimer star reportedly enjoyed the experience of working with the Grammy winner in her “really sweet, lovely song and video.”
Cillian was of the opinion that he was really “happy to be involved” in the project that originated from their gathering at the talk show alongside Domhnall Gleeson and Lewis Capaldi.
Gushing about their attendance on the show, he shared that they “were all in the sofa together” when Taylor talked to them about the concept of her music video.
According to him, the stars present on the episode immediately agreed to the offer. He reportedly said: “Of course we all said yeah. It’s good.”
The statement greatly differed from what the Swifties initially speculated about their appearance together on the show.
It was the time when the Lover crooner showed off her engagement ring to everyone while Cillian and others present gave her a round of applause.
Fans were of the opinion that the Inception star was irritated and hated to be there with the pop icon, who got engaged months before the episode was filmed.
