Ryan Gosling opened up about his biggest critics.
Gosling has received reviews from his daughters Esmeralda Amada, 11, and Amada Lee, 9, whom he shares with his partner Eva Mendes, about his new film, Project Hail Marry.
In an interview with Access Hollywood he said about the movie, "My kids have seen multiple cuts."
"They give me multiple notes," he said. "They're basically the only critics I care about, and they are very critical and very honest."
The Barbie star also revealed that his daughters encouraged him to take part in a sci-fi film.
He said that he was proud of working in such film and that as a family he would like to see a movie like this one.
Project Hail Marry follows Ryland Grace (Gosling), a middle school science teacher who wakes up alone on a spaceship with no memory of who he is or why he's there.
As his memories slowly return, he realizes he’s humanity's last hope on a desperate mission on Earth from mysterious substance that’s causing sun to dim.
In addition to Gosling, the film stars Sandra Huller, Ken Leung, Milana Vayntrub, Lionel Boyce, James Ortiz and Priya Kansara.
Project Hail Marry is slated for release on March 20.
