Hilary Duff exposes feud with Lindsay Lohan in bombshell confession

Hilary Duff has finally owned up to one of the most deliciously petty moments of her teen years.

The 38-year-old actres admitted she “absolutely” turned up to the 2003 premiere of Freaky Friday, starring Lindsay Lohan, at the height of their noughties feud.

Speaking on the Call Her Daddy, the former Disney darling didn’t exactly deny the drama.

“I think absolutely yes,” she confessed when asked if she intentionally gatecrashed the event. 

But she insists she had encouragement and a date.

Her then-boyfriend Chad Michael Murray, who appeared in the film, reportedly invited her along. 

“He was like, ‘You should come with me,’” Hilary recalled. 

“And I was like, ‘Mhm. Probably I should.’ I mean, I was so young!”

The move raised eyebrows at the time, but Lizzie McGuire actress now laughs it off as teenage mischief. 

She wasn’t surprised when Lindsay later showed up at the premiere of her own flick, Cheaper by the Dozen, calling it all part of their “childhood feud”.

Thankfully, the frost has long since thawed. 

The Younger star revealed the pair finally made peace during a random nightclub run-in years later. 

“She was like, ‘Are we good?’ I said, ‘We’re good.’ She said, ‘Let’s take a shot.’ It was amazing.”

Hilary believes much of the bad blood stemmed from their overlapping romance with late pop star Aaron Carter, who died in 2022.
