Toy Story 5 studio, Pixar, has announced the new cast for Mr and Mrs Potato Head since the original stars has passed away.
Revealed in the description below the YouTube video of the new trailer, the new cast included, Looney Tunes voice actor Jeff Bergman as Mr. Potato Head and Batman animated series star Anna Vocino as Mrs. Potato Head.
Rickles voiced Mr. Potato Head since the very first movie in 1995.
However, after the star passed in 2017, after the first three movies, the studio used existing audio recordings to keep Rickles' voice in Toy Story 4.
Meanwhile, Harris joined the franchise in the 1999 sequel as Mr. Potato Head's wife. She appeared in Toy Story 4 but sadly died in 2022.
Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head aren't the only characters who have been recast.
The new toy’s owner Bonnie will be voiced by Scarlett Spears and Greta Lee will voice the new gadget, Lilypad.
The film is based on toys purpose in kid's lives when childhood gets dominated by technology.
In the film sees Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen) reunite to save Bonnie from her new lilypad smart tablet.
They team up with Jessie (Joan Cusack), Forky (Tony Hale), Slinky Dog (Blake Clarke), Hamm (John Ratzenberger), Trixie (Kristen Schaal) and an army of Buzz Lightyears to stop technology taking over kids' lives.
Toy Story 5 will release in cinemas on June 19.
