Cynthia Erivo was spotted by fans as she stopped by to show love after performing in one-woman show Dracula.

Although the 39-year-old faced immense public scrutiny for her accompaining Ariana Grande, the criticism reignited after she met fans post-performance.

For the outing, the Hollywood A-list star was bare face. She dressed in a fur coat and paired it with a grey and white scarf.

The actress also wore a head-covering, ditching her bald look for the day.

After the video went viral, the online community debated about her unrecognisable appearance with one X user poking fun at her for looking like a “homeless… addict.”

Another critic was of the opinion that The Wicked star “doesn’t interact like human.”

However, several fans jumped in to defend her, writing on the platform: “[redacted] are these comments? LEAVE HER ALONE, SHES TIRED.”

An admirer expressed their admiration for the actress, noting: “I love her so much, sorry but Hollywood doesn’t deserve her.”

Cynthia has officially debuted her one-woman show which is an adaptation of Dracula. For the play, the star portrayed over 20 characters and delivered 20,000 dialogues.

Why were Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande criticsied?

This came after she and her former co-star Ariana made the headlines for their transformation while being part of the Wicked series.

Apart from their reported weight loss, their bond and dynamics have been criticised during several promotional events.
