Jill Zarin has officially been fired from The Real Housewives of New York City reunion series The Golden Life for her hateful rant regarding bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX Halftime performance.
The show’s producers Blink49 Studios have issued a statement to inform viewers that they were cutting ties with the 62-year-old.
“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life.’ We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values,” the statement read.
The public comments in question were made by Zarin on Instagram, in which she made several derogatory remarks toward the Puerto Rican star and also called his peaceful performance political.
“We all agree — it was the worst halftime show ever. It’s 250 years that we’re celebrating right now in the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish,” she stated.
Zarin added that she thinks it was a political statement and an ICE thing, which she believed was very sad and the National Football League sold out by letting him perform.
Jake Paul took to his social media to speak against Bad Bunny and said that he is boycotting the DTMF hit maker.
