Apple TV+’s hit drama The Last Thing He Told Me is set to return on February 20, 2026, and early first-look images have fans buzzing over a long-awaited reunion between Jennifer Garner’s character and her on-screen husband.
The second season picks up after a dramatic time jump, following Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) resurfacing five years after years on the run.
New snapshots show Garner’s Hannah Hall standing close with Owen on a balcony in what appears to be Paris, hinting at a fraught reunion as they confront unresolved questions about their past and family.
Season 1, adapted from Laura Dave’s bestselling novel, centred on Hannah’s search for Owen and her evolving bond with her stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) after Owen mysteriously vanished.
According to Daily Mail, that story ended with the family fractured and Owen in hiding.
Beyond the main duo, the upcoming season brings in Judy Greer, marking a reunion with Garner from their 13 Going on 30 days, and Rita Wilson in a surprising role.
Additional scenes show Hannah in moments of solitude and together with Bailey, suggesting emotional stakes remain high as the narrative unfolds.
