Bad Bunny saw an unexpected surge in his streams as soon as he headlined at the Super Bowl Halftime show.
The 31-year-old, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, was joined by Pedro Pascal, Lady Gaga, Jessica Alba, Cardi B and other as he performed his hit tracks on the stage.
Hours after performance, the MONACO hitmaker’s album was streamed on platforms, going viral on social media sites.
It is being reported that DtMF (DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS) will seemingly rank No.1 on Billboard Hot 100 charts for the first time.
The track has garnered nearly 1.4 million plays on Spotify after it debuted on January 23, 2025.
In a resurfaced interview, Benito shared rare details about the making and origin of DtMF. He revealed that the song was “the last one to be written and recorded.”
The musician shared that his previous idea to make Como al Album didn’t work out for him.
However, producer Mag came up with a rhythm which became a foundation for a track on family, his homeland. The singer shared that the process moved him to tears, singing to the beat like a “mess.”
Although he was threatened with ICE raids at the Super Bowl LX, Bad Bunny did not hesitate calling them out in his Grammys acceptance speech.
During his explosive performance at the sporty event, he gave a message “Together We Are America.”
