Chappell Roan reacted within days after the head of talent agency Wasserman, Casey Wasserman was mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
The 27-year-old singer penned down a long note on her Instagram story about ending professional ties with Casey.
The musician made it clear that she is “no longer represented by Wasserman,” highlighting a difference of morals with the company.
According to the HOT TO GO! Crooner puts in efforts to hold her “teams to the highest standards” while protecting them in return.
It appears she is calling others to do the same, condemning anyone who expects “to defend or overlook actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral values.”
However, Chappell pointed out that she has nothing against the “agents and staff” who are working hard for “their artists.”
Towards the end of the note, the Casual singer highlighted the significance of “accountability and leadership” for a “meaningful change” in the industry.
In the recently disclosed Epstein files, the CEO of the company’s “flirtatious” emails exchange with Ghislaine Maxwell came to light.
Casey, who is 2028 Los Angeles Olympics Chief, asked her to wear skin fitted dresses and used “suggestive language” in the conversations.
It is to be noted that Ghislaine has been a long-time companion to the sex offender Jeffrey.
