The 24-year-old singer admitting feeling honoured before noting that “no one is illegal on stolen land,” a remark which landed her in hot waters.

However, a reporter seemingly overstepped a boundary as he tried to get in the BLUE crooner’s mansion “to mock” her remark.

The video, making the rounds on the internet, features a reporter from GBN’s The Late Show Live who rings the bell of Billie’s house.

He shared the need to verify if the Lovely singer “practices what she preaches,” claiming that if she does, the pop icon would have “no problem with [him] waltzing in.”

Meanwhile, the online community slammed the journalist for “harassing” her in broad day light as one X user noted: “This is harassment.”

Another called him out, highlighting a fine line between “journalism” and “harassment.” They insisted that the songstress and other public figures “deserve personal boundaries.”

A third netizen was confused, asking: “Why is he trying to invade her privacy?”
