Paris Hilton, who is a prominent teen advocate, candidly voiced her opinions about positive changes in the teen industry.
For the unversed, the 44-year-old American media personality earlier revealed her truth about being the victim of a "troubled" system.
Moreover, she claimed to be "force-fed medications and sexually abused" in her address at the California State Capitol.
On January 28, Britney Spears' best friend made her appearance on NBC's Today with Jenna & Sheinelle to promote her new documentary, Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir.
During the conversation, the mother of two shared the gruesome recollections of her abuse in the name of therapy when she presented Senate Bill 1043 that demands ruthless transparency in the Californian youth treatment centers.
"Today, I stand before you not just as Paris Hilton, but as an advocate and survivor of the troubled teen industry," by mentioning her youth treatment center stay in Utah at age 17.
"If I tried to tell my parents about the abuse, the staff would immediately rip the phone from my hand, disconnect the call and I'd be subject to violent physical restraints and solitary confinement," she added.
At her times, Paris was striving to ameliorate the situation in these treatment centers since her emotional speech was unanimously received by the bipartisan approval of the bill in California State Capitol.
