Dove Cameron reveals shocking career update after Damiano David engagement

Dove Cameron, who is known for being a Disney star, finally set the record straight on her career as she appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 30-year-old singer recently got engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Damiano David.

However, the Boyfriend crooner revealed she has been “working on an album for a very long time” and is looking forward to release it for a very long time.

Speaking on the late night show, the musician shared that her label has finally given a “green light” to her, sating "this year is the year.”

In 2026, Dove is finally putting out her debut studio record after working on several singles and EP (extended plays) in the past.

She launched solo by putting out songs like Bloodshot and Waste in 2019, rising to fame after her single Boyfriend became a massive hit in 2022.

The Descendants star could not drop a full album as it she was reportedly stopped due to contractual obligations. She also faced “label-related roadblocks.”

Was Damiano David part of a band?

Apart from her music update, the singer is expecting to tie knot with Damiano, who was previously part of Måneskin.

The Italian musician launched his solo career by releasing singles Silverlines and Born with A Broken Heart.
