Marcello Hernandez address rumours of dating Sabrina Carpenter

Marcello Hernandez has shut down the conversation about him and popstar, Sabrina Carpenter.

Following her playful arrest of Hernandez in November 2024, during her Los Angeles concert for Short n’ Sweet tour, they both starred in a high-profile Domingo sketch during SNL 50.

They were first seen together publicly at the Variety Power of Young Hollywood event. The Please Please Please crooner than hosted the TV show again in October 2025.

Due to these constant interactions, fans began heavily pairing them together.

In an appearance at the recent podcast episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert, the host pushed for him to date the Espresso singer.

"If I’m you again and I’m 28, I’m going to try to date her with all my might," he said.

In reply, Hernandez shut down the rumours, clarifying that he is in relationship with an "unreal Dominican girl," Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral.

They’ve been dating since around January 2025 and made public appearance at the Happy Gilmore 2 premiere.

He went on to praise the Nobody’s Son hitmaker as "awesome," really funny and cool,” and “down to clown”, but emphasized they’re just friends.

Currently, Hernandez debuted his Netflix comedy special, American Boy which was filmed in his home town Miami.

He is actively touring with stand-up shows in 2026, with confirmed dates in New York City (January 28) and in Medford around February 12-13.

Meanwhile, Carpenter following the release of Man’s Best Friend in September, she has earned six Grammy nominations and is set to perform at the event on February 1.
