Arnold Schwarzenegger has been accused of “living rent free” in WWE legend Paul Wight’s head for 12 years after what can only be described as a brilliantly awkward running prank.

The seven-foot giant, better known to fans as The Big Show, has revealed that a simple case of Hollywood memory loss turned into more than a decade of confusion, pride and frustration after their work together on the 1996 festive hit Jingle All The Way, which also starred Arnold.

Speaking on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast, Paul recalled instantly bonding with the 78-year-old actor on set, chatting about cigars and wrestling icon André the Giant.

Convinced they’d formed a genuine connection, he left thinking he’d made a new Hollywood friend.

But things took a bizarre turn when they crossed paths again a couple of years later.

Paul approached excitedly, only for The Terminator star to respond with a polite but crushing: “Nice to meet you.”

The same awkward moment repeated again and again.

Even backstage at WWE’s Monday Night Raw, the pattern continued, leaving Paul questioning everything.

“This is the fourth time you’ve met me!” he later thought in disbelief.

To make matters worse, Paul even spotted his own photo hanging in Predator star’s gym, yet still, no recognition.

By his own admission, the experience drove him mad.

“Arnold was living in my head rent free,” he joked, admitting he even planned to ignore the actor next time.

But at the Arnold Classic years later, everything changed.

Commando actor took to the stage, publicly praising his “good friend Paul,” and even winked at him mid-ceremony.
