Patrick Schwarzenegger marries Abby Champion after postponing wedding last year

Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion officially tied the knot a year after their wedding was postponed.

On September 6, the 31-year-old actor said ‘I do’ to his longtime beau in an intimate ceremony at the exclusive Gozzer Ranch country club in Idaho.

The romantic event was attended by the groom's A-list family, including his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and his sister, Katherine, with her husband, Chris Pratt.

The 28-year-old Abby stunned in a full-skirted, sleeveless cream dress while the husband dazzled in a cream tuxedo teamed with black dress trousers.

Notably, the lakeside wedding came a year after Patrick announced his plans to postpone the marriage due to a work commitment.

The couple got engaged in December 2023 and were soon to tie the knot; however, the Gen V lead had signed an exclusive deal with the producers of The White Lotus.

Patrick was brought on board for the third season as Saxon Ratcliffe, a finance bro who works for his wealthy father.

The groom-to-be had to set aside his wedding plans and fly to Thailand to shoot the series, which premiered on February 16, 2025, to positive reviews. 

For the unversed, the comedy thriller show put him on the map as one of the most acclaimed actors of our time, as netizens were disappointed when Patrick’s nomination at the Emmys was snubbed.

As of now, Patrick Schwarzenegger is preparing for his upcoming romantic comedy, Love of Your Life, alongside Margaret Qualley.

How did Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion meet?

The couple met in 2015 through a mutual friend, which led to their friendship and eventually a first date. The lovebirds went Instagram official in February 2016.
