Colin Jost invited Marcello Hernandez to explain Gen-Z terminology to older people since the words have gained a lot of popularity in the current day.

The 28-year-old then talks about the word “chopped” which the Weekend Update host mistakes for a cooking show.

“Chopped is an adjective used to describe something that is visually unappealing, for example this picture of Colin from middle school is chopped,” the stand-up comedian stated.

Colin then asked if he got the image from his parents, later adding that it was from his college days and not middle-school which Marcello admitted was worse.

The American Boy star then explained that the two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner had now had a “glo-up” and become a “hear me out.”

He also reveals that Michael Che, the Weekend Update co-host didn’t need to be taught because the slang is African American slang, which young people thought was cool so they adopted it.

In response, Colin attempts to use “cap” but ends up killing it as well calling Hitler “chopped” which he did after Marcello explained World War II in Gen-Z terms.

What celebrity has been on SNL the most?
