Cole Walliser, the Canadian director who turns celebs into slow-motion royalty on the red carpet, found himself trending for a very different reason this week. 

The 44-year-old filmmaker, known for working with stars like Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, usually becomes the hero of every awards night due to his Glambot magic.

Unfortunately, a resurfaced 2019 email and a Golden Globes moment with Jennifer Lopez have sent the internet into meltdown.

The email was sent to a bride enquiring about hiring his Glambot for her wedding, revealed pricing details and also including a hefty deposit. 

Walliser’s follow-up message, critics claimed, came across as dismissive, sparking accusations of elitism. 

Screenshots went viral, and suddenly, what was once a private exchange became a public debate.

To add fuel to the fire, footage of Lopez during her Glambot shoot saw her seemingly rushing past Walliser, sparking speculation of a snub. 

Commenters were quick to roast both star and director. 

However, Walliser stepped in to cool the drama, insisting he never felt disrespected and cherishes every celebrity who strikes a pose.

Fans rallied in his defence, pointing out that running a high-end Glambot setup isn’t cheap, and the outrage felt more like a typical internet pile-on.

Despite the backlash, his reputation in Hollywood remains intact. 

The Glambot is still a red-carpet staple, and celebrities continue queuing for their cinematic moment. 

For now, it seems the only thing viral about Walliser is the drama.
