Michael Che and Colin Jost are known for taking bold jabs during the Weekend Updates segment of Saturday Night Love, and this weekend included a surprise mention of the conviced rapper Sean Diddy Combs.

The stand-up comedian began by discussing the fact that the President of the United States finally received a Nobel Peace Prize, not by the institution that awards them, but by another recipient whom it was originally intended for.

On January 15 Venezuela’s opposition leader María Corina Machado gifted the businessman the prize, as a symbol of gratitude.

Che stated, “Political experts say that Machado gave Trump her Nobel Peace Prize in the hopes of getting his help to become the next leader of Venezuela.”

He added, “and if that bribe actually worked I bet Trump’s about to get a whole bunch of Grammy’s” as Diddy’s face flashed on screen.

The Bad Boy Records founder has apparently already sent in a letter requesting a pardon from Trump, but the President said he was not planning on granting it despite recalling good times with him in the past.

What were the charges against Diddy?

Diddy was indicted in the Southern District of New York on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force and transportation for purposes of prostitution, of which he has only been convicted for two of the latter.
