Perrie Edwards, the 32-year-old singer and former member of Little Mix, has given birth to her second child with fiancé and professional footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The couple revealed the arrival of their baby girl, Alanis Valentine, on social media Saturday, sharing a black-and-white photograph featuring the newborn and family.
Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain, both 32, are already parents to their four-year-old son, Axel.
According to Daily Mail, the joyful announcement prompted an outpouring of congratulations from celebrity friends and fans alike, including messages from Edwards’s former Little Mix bandmates and other stars celebrating the new arrival.
The news comes after the singer publicly shared her emotional journey with pregnancy loss.
In interviews and podcast appearances, Edwards opened up about enduring two miscarriages: one early in her first pregnancy and another around the 24-week mark some years later, which she described as deeply traumatic.
Furthermore, Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain have been together since 2017 and announced their engagement in 2022.
