Hailey Bieber has revealed that one of her biggest early fashion influences came from an unlikely source, Disney Channel favourite Hannah Montana.
The 29-year-old model has confessed she was once “obsessed” with Miley Cyrus’ hit teen sitcom and would eagerly copy the outfits worn on screen, recreating them so she could wear similar looks in real life.
Speaking to WWD, Hailey admitted the show played a huge role in shaping her early sense of style.
“I remember watching Hannah Montana and being so inspired by Miley’s fashion on the show,” she said.
“I wanted to recreate the outfits and put my own spin on them.”
While the sparkly teen looks of her childhood are long gone, the Rhode Beauty founder says the confidence she gained from experimenting with fashion has stayed with her.
Now 29, her style has evolved into what she describes as “effortless and chic”, with comfort and confidence at the centre of every outfit.
“When I feel good in clothes, that’s when I feel they look the best,” she explained.
“A lot of it comes from the inside out. I always want it to look like I’m wearing the clothes, not that they’re wearing me.”
Known for her sleek, minimalist wardrobe, Justin Bieber's wife admitted she often sticks to safe options like monochrome outfits and neutral tones.
However, she’s keen to push herself more.
She explained that she often gravitates towards safe choices like all-black looks or neutral shades such as beige and brown because she knows they suit her well.
However, she added that she is eager to experiment more in the future, exploring bolder colours along with different silhouettes and textures to evolve her style further.
