Mia Goth reveals secrets from star-studded set of ‘The Odyssey’

Mia Goth has opened up about her “life-changing” experience working with Christopher Nolan on The Odyssey, one of 2026’s most anticipated films. 

The first extended trailer was released on December 22 and has already racked up 37 million views, teasing Matt Damon as Odysseus and a star-studded cast including Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, and Goth herself as Melantho.

Speaking on the red carpet at the Palm Springs International Film Awards while celebrating her work in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, Goth said, “That was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It really was. It was profound. 

I’ve been such a fan of his work for years. To witness how he directs was incredible. The trust he has in actors was enlightening.”

Her Odyssey co-star James Remar praised Nolan’s professional set, saying, “Everyone was concentrated on being the absolute best. No hijinks, no fooling around — it was all about the vision.”

The Pearl actress’s calendar is packed as along with awards season buzz for Frankenstein and The Odyssey hitting cinemas July 17, she’s set to star in Shawn Levy’s Star Wars: Starfighter alongside Ryan Gosling and Amy Adams, due May 28, 2027. 

She teased, “Working with Shawn was some of the most fun I’ve had. I adore him.”

It’s worth noting that the upcoming movie The Odyssey looks set to be a blockbuster summer hit that fans won’t want to miss, thanks to Nolan’s direction and a star-studded cast of Hollywood heavyweights.
