Billie Eilish has always been vocal about the adverse effects of technological development, capitalism and elites.

However, a recent Instagram re-share brought her under fire as she tried to bring attention to the problems caused by the surge in AI

The fact pointed out how artificial intelligence consumed “more” water this year than “the global bottled water industry.”

Although the remark cannot be denied amid the rising use of technology, the online community labelled her a "hypocrite" as they reminded about her previous updates.

One of the X users shared a snip of her Instagram story from nearly two weeks ago where she followed in the footsteps of other celebrities

Hailey Bieber’s male version edit was one of the most popular ai-generated trend that was everywhere on social media. Other stars joined the trend also.

The Grammy winner re-posted the pictures of herself as a man and added Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi to it, seemingly flexing her handsome looks.

A netizen slammed her, penning down on the platform: “Performative woke! Her activism and hate for billionaires is so performative.”

Another highlighted her differing opinions on capitalism while selling “UNO cards and expensive perfumes… hates winning awards but cries when she doesn’t.”

Where did Billie Eilish donate her money from tour?

It is to be noted that the BLUE crooner donated $11.5 million that she earned through her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour, offering her support to the “climate justice and food equity” through Changemaker Programme.
