The Kid Laroi ignites Justin Bieber, Charlie Puth controversy

The Kid Laroi has been under fire for few controversial moves before disappearing from the hip-hop world to focus on his well-being.

During his career, the 22-year-old singer has collaborated with many top artists from the industry including Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Jungkook and others.

However, the NIGHTS LIKE THIS hitmaker decided to address an older buzz about who penned down the lyrics of famous song STAY.

He cleared the air by revealing that he wrote “every single lyric on that song,” while Justin created his own verses on the track.

According to him, there has been a “misinterpretation” about the hit “somewhere along the line that it was pitched by… Charlie [Puth].”

The musician denied all the rumours, saying: “I made that song with everyone in 20 minutes.”

Despite him addressing the rumours, fans are still not convinced about the songwriter as one of the X users was of the opinion that Justin’s fans are “saying Charlie wrote it.”

Another was of the opinion that the 34-year-old singer is the one to be blamed as he “imposed that narrative without giving credit to” the other musicians.

A third fan was confused as it was initially reported that the 31-year-old “freestyled” but it is now being said “he wrote it.”

In 2022, the Light Switch singer claimed in a Sirius XM interview that he made the track and used his piano to play very “ballady type chords.”
