The Korean idol recently released the new official FIFA World Cup 2026 anthem Goals and the netizens have something to say about it.
The headline single was released on Thursday, May 21st under SALXCO UAM and Def Jam Recordings.
It was also revealed that the new music is FIFA's strategy to gain attention from a diverse population as it is a multi-artist soundtrack.
Notably, the trio is also set to perform the "Perfect" song at the tournament's opening ceremony at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for the very first time on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Apart from that, the netizens have also highlighted the song and shared their opinions, calling it a "not a good fit."
One netizen wrote, "The song is good but for a FIFA world cup is not a good fit. FIFA songs are about countries coming together as one for the love and passion of the sport not about looking good and shaking asses!"
Another person pointed out, "Always the same sh!tty lyrics like what does a world cup song has to do with your body and fit?"
It is to be noted that Lisa is not the first Korean artist to work on a major project, as previously Jungkook from BTS worked with Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi for 2022's anthem, Dreamers, which was a hit.
