Pete Davidson is settling into life as a new dad and despite a rocky start, he and partner Elsie Hewitt are loving every moment of it.
The 32-year-old comedian and the 29-year-old model recently announced the arrival of their baby daughter, Scottie Rose, marking a huge new chapter for the couple.
But Elsie’s first days of motherhood weren’t entirely smooth sailing.
Just one day after giving birth, she had to undergo an unexpected wisdom tooth extraction.
Thankfully, things are now back on track.
A source told People that Elsie is “doing really well” and feeling much better after the procedure.
“It was an unexpected hiccup right after the delivery, but she handled it like a champ and has been focused on resting and soaking in these first moments with the baby,” the insider shared.
Now back at home, the new parents are embracing the whirlwind of newborn life.
“Being home has been really special for them,” the source added.
“They’re settling into a rhythm, taking everything day by day and just enjoying getting to know their daughter."
The couple are said to be very much “in it together”, learning on the job and supporting each other as they step into parenthood.
It’s a calmer, more grounded chapter for the SNL star, who has previously spoken openly about how intrusive attention on his love life left him feeling “traumatised”.
After years of headlines about his high-profile romances, the star has admitted he longed to be recognised for his comedy not his dating history.
