Kevin Costner is facing a whopping $400,000 lawsuit over unpaid costume bills for his Western epic Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2.
Legal papers reveal that Western Costume Leasing Company claim they provided “valuable costumes” for the film but never saw the payments roll in.
The unpaid invoices total $134,256.82, with the company also seeking $150,000 in economic damages, $200,000 in legal fees, $40,000 in interest, and $100,000 in punitive damages.
The lawsuit insists the costumes were delivered and used on set, but the bills were ignored.
The 70-year-old Hollywood legend, who also wrote, directed, produced, and stars in the film, has already pumped at least $38 million of his own cash into the saga.
Adding fuel to the drama, the production recently faced a separate legal storm.
Stunt performer Devyn LaBella claimed she was put through a violent, unscripted sexual assault scene without warning.
Costner has hit back hard, calling the allegations “absolutely false” and insisting LaBella consented to a fully choreographed scene with no nudity or sexual contact.
Court documents even include texts from her praising the shoot afterwards, saying she “learned so much” and enjoyed her time on set.
Despite the controversy, Yellowstone actor remains defiant.
His camp maintains the claims are exaggerated, while the costume company is pushing for serious cash in damages.
It’s a legal showdown that could cost the Hollywood star both money and reputation as Horizon rides into troubled waters.
