Anne-Marie has opened up about the joys and chaos of juggling life as a mum and a pop star, revealing she leans on pal Ed Sheeran for advice.
The 34-year-old, who welcomed daughter Seven, 22 months, and son Forever Sugar, seven months, with husband Slowthai, admitted parenting is both “the best thing ever and the hardest thing at the same time.”
She told The Sun that working while raising little ones is tougher than she expected, calling her children “beautiful little aliens” who make her crave more, even in the middle of sleepless nights.
Perfect to me hitmaker said she often turns to 34-year-old Ed, who co-wrote her 2018 hit 2002, for guidance not just on kids, but life in general.
With Ed successfully balancing his music career and family life with wife Cherry Seaborn and daughters Lyra and Jupiter, he’s the perfect sounding board.
But it’s not all nappies and midnight feeds, she is also planning a bold new musical chapter for 2026.
She’s promising fans a fresh sound, teasing a switch-up from the style of her first three albums.
“I can’t just come back as the same Anne-Marie I have been for 10 years. I’m going to do a little spice,” she said, hinting at new tracks including the recently teased Depressed.
