Georgina Rodriguez playfully mocks Cristiano Ronaldo
The socialite got engaged to the footballer in June
Georgina Rodriguez has playfully joked about fiance Cristiano Ronaldo for making her wait for the engagement.
The Portugese footballer, who is often considered the greatest of all time, proposed to Georgina after nine years of courtship.
The couple dated for 9 years and has been raising five kids together.
Speaking of the long wait and the footballer finally popping the question, Georgina told ELLE that the 30-carat ring was the “least he could do”.
“It's gorgeous. It's the least he could offer me after ten years of waiting (laughs). The truth is, when he proposed, it was the last thing on my mind.”
Ronaldo popped the question with a 30-carat ring which is estimated to be worth $3 million dollars.
“It took me a long time to process the enormous stone he gave me. I was so shocked that I left it in my room and didn't open it in the sunlight until the next day”, Georgina commented.
Georgina also spoke about meeting Ronaldo back in 2016 and feeling a connection.
“I felt a connection that went far beyond the physical.” she said.
The TV star gave birth to daughter Alana in 2017 and later Bella in 2022. Bella’s twin brother Angel sadly passed away.
