Timothée Chalamet has a bold request for a fan he recently reconnected with, Miles Mitchell, the guy who won the Wonka star’s lookalike contest last year.
The contest winner reconnected with the Beautiful Boy star at the New York City premiere of Marty Supreme.
In fan-captured footage, Mitchell asks the Screen Actors Guild award winner, “Do you remember me?” to which the actor responded with the affirmative and even dapped him up.
Chalamet then asked him to “shave it” and even made a shaving motion to clarify that he was asking the fan to get rid of his long locks, just like he did for Dune 3.
Mitchell also took to his Instagram to write, “Timothee Chalamet told me to shave my head,” with a sad emoji.
Meanwhile the Call Me by Your Name star has also been open about the grief of parting with his hair at the request of the Dune director Denis Villeneuve, since his character goes through a time skip in the trilogy.
Chalamet recently recalled the exact date in June that he shaved off his head, adding that he was practically begging the Canadian filmmaker to let him keep some of his hair, since he had grown attached to his famous locks.
The Josh Safdie directed film, Marty Supreme is loosely based on American table tennis player Marty Reisman.
