Stranger Things season 5 has turned the world Upside Down as the new volume drops on Christmas after explosive success of four episodes.
Although the series itself is a masterpiece, fans and viewers are even more creative when it comes to supporting the Netflix original.
Weeks before the new part drops, an animator Pedro Allevato brought a personal twist to an iconic scene of Joe Keery and Gaten Matarazzo’s character as they meet in Scoops Ahoy.
The designer delighted sci-fi fans by bringing the exaggerated gestures of Steve and Dustin to reality.
He gave the characters "Lightsaber" as they meet each other in the scene and perform a handshake.
While many creators dread AI and it’s danger to the art world, Pedro penned down an extensive note, explaining his motivation to draw it in his unique style.
Calling it a “HUMAN-MADE INTERPRETATION,” the animator highlighted that his goal is to translate “the scene’s emotional aspect.”
He simply desires to show “what was going through their head as they performed the handshake.”
Towards the end of the note, Pedro left an interesting question for his followers, asking them if they can spot “the difference between machine recreation and human-designed motion?”
The series became a hit after debuting on July 15, 2016, while its final season continueS to add to the popularity.
The new instalment (part 1) hit #1 after receiving 59.6 million, becoming the “biggest premiere” for an English series.
