Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp has sent the fandom into overdrive after admitting he first read the script for the show’s explosive final season while standing in the shower.
The 21-year-old actor, who plays fan-favourite Will Byers, told People that he’d been warned the final season would be wild, but he didn’t take the hints seriously.
“I was reading it in the shower and I was like, ‘Oh my God,’” he said.
“I was calling my mum, freaking out. I was skimming it as I was getting ready in the shower.”

Noah also reflected on why the series has captured the world’s heart.
“It’s a show about friendship, connection, belonging and embracing your differences,” he said.
Co-star Millie Bobby Brown, who has played Eleven since she was a child, echoed the emotional sentiment.
Calling the experience “wonderful”, the 21-year-old admitted she can’t imagine life without the series.
“It’s been half my life,” she told Extra.
The Enola Holmes actress shared that she feels incredibly grateful to be part of such a monumental universe, while also becoming emotional as the series approaches its end.

Stranger Things Season 5 will be released on November 26 with the premiere of Volume 1.
Volume 2 will follow shortly after, dropping on on Christmas Day and the series finale on New Year's Eve.
