Rihanna accused of ‘bleaching’ as recent appearance goes viral

Rihanna has recently stepped out in public and her appearance is going viral for all the wrong reasons, as internet users accuse the singer of getting surprising work done.

The Barbadian singer’s complexion looked lighter than usual, which sparked a conversation about her getting her skin bleached.

It appears that there is no merit to the accusations, as the mother-of-three’s skin tone has always been paler when she is not tan.

Rihanna’s complexion has also been compared to Beyoncé’s, who has also sparked skin lightening speculation.

Internet users wrote on X, “Y'all were accusing Beyonce of bleaching but when it's Rihanna its crickets,” and “She’s using some sort of bleaching soap you can tell by her leg but beyonce took a flash photo and y’all swore she was bleaching.”

Meanwhile some defended the Umbrella singer, noting, “They are so illogical that they think Rihanna is bleaching and unbleaching at will, when the more sensible explanation is that she is lighter in the winter and when camera flashes are used.”

“Rih is pale without a tan,her father's (mixed w the Irish/scottish mother) genes are strong,because her mother has dark skin and yet all her children have light skin,” added another with pictures of Rihanna from when she was younger.

What condition does Rihanna have?

Rihanna has hyperlipidemia, or high cholesterol, and reportedly takes appropriate precautions to maintain her weight and health.
