Justin Theroux reveals Meryl Streep nervousness in 'Devil Wears Prada 2'

Justin Theroux got candid about his experience sharing screen with Meryl Streep in the sequel of The Devil Wears Prada.

After the 54-year-old’s partner teased her pregnancy, Justin dished on being in the new movie with the iconic cast which also features Anne Hathaway.

While speaking with People Magazine, the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice star joked about the 76-year-old actress being “nervous” to work with him.

The Zoolander star admitted that the Hollywood A-list star was “fabulous.” He declared that the three-time Academy Award winner is “a professional.”

Justin spilled the “thrilling” part of working with Meryl, noting that “after a few minutes of nerves,” he realised that “she’s just a really quality actress.”

Previously, the actor described his character in a separate interview as a “forward-leaning, rich and stupid” character which he thoroughly enjoyed playing.

He also gushed about joining the It’s Complicated actress, expressing his immense “pleasure and an honor.”

The upcoming movie, featuring stars like Anne, Emily Blunt, Simone Ashley, Sydney Sweeney and others, is expected to release next year on May 1, 2026.

Several clips went viral from the sets of the project, giving fans a rare glimpse of the project as they shoot for the next part.

However, an ongoing controversy focused on the opening scene of the teaser where the lead character Miranda wears a suspected outdated heels.
